I like working in a variety of art mediums. Clay is particularly wonderful because it responds easily to my hands when I work with it, a cooperative exchange.

I like to make pieces that are related and they exist as families to me. My love for the comfortable act of painting comes through in my surface design. I like spirals and dots and patterns. I also like female forms with simple curves. Working with slab construction is my favorite.
