Mackenzie Pikaart is a ceramic artist based in Philadelphia.  Her work is rooted in memory, emotion, and the quiet rhythms of daily life. She creates functional pieces that reflect moments of introspection, using pigmented clay, form and texture to explore the space between solitude and connection. Other than making her personal work, Mackenzie produces a line of works for wholesale, is a ceramics educator and mentor to many in Philadelphia and beyond. Mackenzie received her BFA in Crafts / Ceramics through The University of the Arts in Philadelphia 2011. Makenzie is in the process of her next large solo installation, a 2000 dinnerware and home decor show about sets and finding place in our world at Foyer Gallery in Richmond VA, January - March 2027..
